Faith Without Works Is Dead

“What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

James 2:14-17

What do I gain by claiming to possess moral conviction driven by GOD, if my actions are not consistent with my claim.

To speak without ensuing action means nothing.

The man in need of clothing is not clothed by me identifying his need, alone. The hungry woman is not fed by my recognition of her hunger, alone.

A declaration that Jesus is LORD, means nothing, alone. If Jesus is truly LORD in my life there will be evidence. Faith, alone, if it hath not works is dead. It cannot deliverprotect, heal, preserve or save.
