Partiality regarding one’s station in life, gossip, putting your neighbor’s life in danger, hating your brother in your heart, being indifferent to sin, taking vengeance, and bearing grudges, all show a lack of love and are condemned. (Leviticus 19:15-17) “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Our treatment of others is a direct reflection of the reverence and respect we have for GOD. The love we have for our neighbor, who is anyone we encounter needing our help, “Good Samaritan” Luke 10:25-37, exposes much about our love for GOD. The love we show our brother reveals whether we are being honest and truly love the LORD. “If a man says, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this (is the) commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also.” 1st John 4:20-21
