Division under the umbrella of Christianity abounds in our nation. Much of that division can be attributed to Biblical illiteracy. Some only know or believe what they have been told by those who stand in the pulpits of the buildings they worship in. Others, base their faith on nothing more than the family faith. Meaning, whatever the family believes is accepted and not questioned. Our soul is far too valuable to leave it in the hands of another, even those closest to us. Perhaps the pulpit sermons you hear are true or the family faith is biblical, but how will we know if we fail to investigate GOD’S word.
“These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” Acts 17:11
