Submission is hard, when we submit, we are placing ourselves under one in authority. We are surrendering by willingly exposing ourselves before GOD, and acknowledging to Him that we have accepted where we are and that we need Him, not for most things, but we need him for everything. We are surrendering the control that we are trying to hold on to, and giving it to the ONE, who has all power and authority.
When we turn it all over to Jesus, we are turning it over to the Good Shepherd. In John 10, there is a contrast between the GOOD SHEPHERD and one who is considered a hireling. John 10:11-15
How invested is Jesus in us?
The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. The GOOD SHEPHERD says, “I lay down My life for the sheep.”
We are not turning these distractions over to a hired servant, or a wage worker, who does not care and will flee at the 1st sight of trouble. We are turning them over to one who cares, I know He cares…
Does Jesus Care Oh Yes, He cares… I know He cares, He showed me He cares, by taking my place on my cross.
