What did you accomplish?
What task did you complete that was so important?
The time you spend cannot be redeemed. What did you spend it on?
Make sacrifices when you can. Make sacrifices when you can’t. Life is always busy. There will always be something going on. Step back and evaluate, what is it that is truly important. Be sure the battles you choose to fight are REALLY, REALLY, worth fighting. I mean, REALLY, REALLY, worth fighting. You cannot unsay words, you cannot redeem time that you spend, away. You cannot say, I love you, to people who are no longer here.
“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18
“…ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14
“Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32
Was it really worth it, or was it just stubborn pride? Be sure the battles you choose to fight are REALLY, REALLY, worth fighting. Be sure, the things that keep you busy and cause you to say no, are REALLY,REALLY, worthy of your time. Be sure the sacrifices you are unwilling to make, are REALLY,REALLY, worth it.
We will never make the best decision every time but we REALLY, REALLY, can do better. Be sure to always do as much as lies within you.
