“Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand. There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:8-9
Joseph’s commitment to his relationship with GOD enabled him to withstand temptation from Potiphar’s wife. His decision was not made impulsively; he had resolved in his heart to avoid sinning against GOD. Deciding beforehand is crucial in making wise spiritual decisions. To be successful in do so, our relationship with GOD must be what we treasure most.
