Are we more concerned with the praise of man or the praise of GOD? If we preoccupy ourselves with self promotion and worrying about what others think, we will miss the mark in being what GOD wants us to be. I have found true satisfaction in self-sacrifice. There is a genuine sense of peace that comes from simply doing the Lords work because it is the right thing to do. There is a sense of peace that comes from doing the right thing simply because you care. The quicker we learn that it is not about us, the more effective we will be in preparing our heart for eternity.
