Personal responsibility in our prayer life is vital to success in our spiritual warfare. Likewise, is the duty to pray for one another. Our prayers have the potential to strengthen our fellow soldiers march in the Lord’s army.

Paul urges us to pray with perseverance and supplication for the whole body of believers. While we may be unaware of the specific challenges faced by fellow Soldiers of Christ in different places, we can be certain they need our prayers. They are battling principalities, powers, and the rulers of darkness of this age, as well as the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. They, too, must withstand the schemes of the devil. We can help by praying for them. We can be helped by their prayers for us. Let us be persistent in our prayers for one another.

“…praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints…” Ephesians 6:18Ā
