Was the building and boarding of the Ark essential for the salvation of Noah and his family, or were they saved the moment they believed that God would save them?
Consider the following, GOD said to Noah, “I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.” Genesis 6:18
“Thus, Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.” Genesis 6:22
“…by faith, Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, through which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.” Hebrews 11:7
If Noah and his family had not boarded the Ark that he was commanded to build, in the manner GOD commanded, they would have perished alongside the rest of the world. Faith requires action; otherwise, it is lifeless.
