Success is greatly influenced by the time and effort we dedicate to a particular task or goal in life. In athletics, we must practice diligently, study game strategies, and execute the plays or techniques necessary. To achieve success in education, we must study hard and take our academic responsibilities seriously. Likewise, in our careers, we must arrive on time, apply what we have learned, and work efficiently. This principle equally applies but to a more significant level regarding our service to God.
Food for thought…
If we treated our profession with the same respect and urgency as we do the Lord, would we have a job? If we studied for our classes with the same diligence and urgency as we study our Bible, would we be passing? If we placed the same priority on athletics as our church family, would we be on the team?
