Successful Prayer #3

Successful prayer regarding GOD’S Will accepts and appreciates that GOD is the giver of good things even when the path is hard.

Sometimesthe will of GOD may be painful, requiring us to go through various trials or difficulties. These are the times when we truly learn to trust God. GOD’S supreme power, the assurance of His will being done and Him being the giver of good things, is not dependent on our comfort level or trial difficulty.

Jesus prayed, “Not my will by thine be done…” (Matthew 26:39) Jesus going to the cross was the Father’s will. There was nothing painless about it, but it certainly was the right path. It resulted something good being given. It was the act that gave us the most precious gift we could ever receive, the hope of eternal life.
